How Genesis Works

Genesis operates after a claim has been evaluated—introducing a post-evaluation audit and escalation layer where none currently exists, with an initial focus on first-party claims

Positioned After Evaluation

Genesis is deployed once a carrier has completed its internal evaluation and when negotiations between Attorney and Claims Adjuster have stalled.

It does not replace demand platforms or case management systems.

It operates as a post-evaluation layer—auditing the insurer’s decision and structuring the next phase of the claim.

End-to-End Workflow

Step 1 — Demand Submission

The attorney submits the demand package through their existing workflow.

Step 2 — Carrier Evaluation

The insurer evaluates the claim and issues an initial offer based on internal valuation processes.

Step 3 — Genesis Audit Initiated

Once value negotiations stall, the demand and carrier response are analyzed to establish a structured damages baseline and identify valuation gaps.

Step 4 — Adjuster Interaction

A structured questionnaire captures the insurer’s stated reasoning across liability, damages, and claim handling — creating a recorded basis for the carrier’s position.

Engagement Framework
In first-party claims, the insurer owes a duty of good faith and fair dealing to its policyholder. This creates a structured obligation to meaningfully engage with claim evaluation and reasoning.

Non-Cooperation Handling
If the adjuster does not engage or provides incomplete responses, this is recorded as part of the audit.

Genesis proceeds using the available claim data and triggers escalation pathways based on non-cooperation, ensuring the process continues without dependency on insurer participation.

Step 5 — Audit & Escalation

Genesis processes the responses and initiates escalation pathways where inconsistencies or unsupported positions are identified.

Structured Outputs

Genesis generates a set of structured outputs designed to move the claim forward:

  • A standardized audit of the carrier’s position
  • A documented record of adjuster reasoning
  • Escalation materials aligned with regulatory and litigation pathways

These outputs are designed for progression—not negotiation.

From Negotiation to Accountability

Traditional claim handling relies on negotiation within the insurer’s valuation range.

Genesis introduces a different dynamic:

  • Valuation is audited, not accepted
  • Reasoning is captured, not implied
  • Escalation is structured, not reactive

This shifts the claim from informal negotiation to a documented, accountable process.

Designed for Integration

Genesis is not deployed as a standalone SaaS tool

It operates as an integrated layer within existing legal workflows..

Its role is to introduce a new layer—post-evaluation audit and escalation—within the broader claim lifecycle.

Genesis does not attempt to influence how claims are presented. It changes what happens after they are evaluated.
